Printing batch numbers, MRP, manufacture dates, and barcodes on flat packaging materials—such as unformed pouches, cardboard cartons, blister cards, and envelopes—is often performed manually in Indian SME manufacturing plants. Operators manually place each pouch under a stamper, a tedious process that results in smeared ink, misaligned codes, and frequent operator fatigue.
The Engineering Behind Automatic Friction Feeders
The OSTECH Auto Stamper & Pouch Feeder automates this process through high-friction polyurethane feed belts and adjustable reverse separation rollers. Stacks of up to 500 pouches are loaded into the top hopper. The bottom belt draws pouches forward individually, separating them by thickness with micrometer precision to prevent double-feeding.
Key Features of the OSTECH Auto Stamper Series
- Variable Speed Control: Dispenses from 60 up to 250 pieces per minute depending on pouch length and coder synchronization.
- Universal Printer Mounts: Pre-drilled brackets support all major Continuous Inkjet (CIJ), Thermal Inkjet (TIJ), and UV laser coders.
- Double-Sheet Optical Sensor: Automatically detects if two pouches feed together, alerting the operator and preventing unprinted packaging from entering production.
- Compact Tabletop or Inline Floor Architecture: Easily integrates directly inline with form-fill-seal machines, cartoning infeed lines, or standalone offline offline batch coding rooms.
